Introducing Gilda

Gilda Radner was the very first person ever hired to appear on NBC's Saturday Night Live. She was also one of the first celebrities who talked about, and fought her cancer diagnosis in the public eye, at a time when people just didn't talk about such things...especially women.  And unbeknownst to her, that courage and honesty helped create Gilda's Club. A place where all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action and sustained by community. Our organization creates welcoming communities of free support for everyone living with cancer – men, women, teens and children – along with their families and friends.
