Introducing There's More To Midlife Than Menopause

from There's More To Midlife Than Menopause · host Sharon Cliffe

Introducing the hottest podcast for women. There's More To Midlife Than Menopause. I'm Sharon Cliffe your host, 49, Mama of 4, wifey and dog mama to Loui our 6 month old Toy Cavoodle. In 2023 I got to thinking, you know what? There is more to midlife than menopause and women want more, they crave more. I heard stories, I read posts, I felt the feelings in the comments. What I heard was women were in crisis, that they thought midlife was a crisis. What I felt is that it's actually your best chapter yet. What I heard was it was all dread that were in denial about getting older. What I feel is that women are embracing being 40, being 50, being 60. What I heard was midlife was boring, they were boring. What I feel is midlife's exciting. What I heard was, it's all about menopause. But what I feel is, there's perimenopause and there's also post-menopause. What I heard was that you were stuck in a rut. What I feel is freedom. What I heard was, they had no relationships or they had bad relationships. What I feel is, it's time to nurture relationships. What I heard was, you were bloated, you weren't sleeping. There was the 3 a.m. wakeups. What I feel is, called to support women so that they're not bloated, so that they aren't waking up at 3am. What I heard was midlife sucks. What I feel is let's change the narrative. I was already a certified coach. What I did was I became a certified women specialist coach. So I'm the expert women's coach and I'll be talking about all the things that you can relate to. Perimenopause, menopause, postmenopause, empty nesting, nurturing relationships, hot flashes, brain fog, now where was I? The 3am club, hormones, nutrition, bloating, moving your body, energy, sleep management, stress, mindset, gratitude, habits, and of course sex. My mission is to create a new narrative. I want you to feel empowered. I want you to take back control of your life. You're gonna get through this. Life isn't over. I'm 50 this year and I feel freaking fabulous. I want to create a midlife movement for women. Women that have clarity, confidence, freedom. They're fulfilled and they feel sexy. I will be dropping weekly episodes every Wednesday. We know brain fogs a thing, so make sure you subscribe so you don't miss an episode. There'll be messy moments. We'll be sharing stories. The episodes will be sharp, short. They'll make you laugh. They'll make you cry. Think couch chats with your bestie. It'll be hot. Some weeks it'll be you and me. Other weeks I'll bring in the experts. Subscribe, share the podcast with your girlfriends, sisters, colleagues, neighbors, and your daughters. Get ready because we are about to heat up midlife. Thanks for watching and listening. Make sure you watch on YouTube if you're more of a visual person or you listen where your favorite podcasts are.
