Krooked Barz Krooked Barz Krooked Barz is a Hip-Hop/Rap Recording Artist , Songwriter, Producer and Beatmaker from the North End of Winnipeg, Manitoba,Canada. KROOKED BARZ was born in Winnipeg,MB the capital and largest city of the province of Manitoba, and the seventh-most populated city in Canada with a population just under million ( 825,000 , as of 2021)Starting off with a love of music from a young age , the young MC started writing songs by the time he was 10. Between the ages of 10 - 14 , Barz started getting into trouble with the law and imitating the older youth in his neighborhood who often NEVER went to school , smoked weed , had jewellery , had money , sold drugs and were involved with gangs/criminal lifestyles.At the age of 11 A Young Krooked Barz had been arrested for mischief to property under $5000 for doing graffiti(tagging.) Too young to be formally processed and criminally charged as a pre-teenager for such a minor offence he received community service hours and was under what he says w #14Stories Never Too Late We’re hearing stories from communities all over the world on how the COVID-19 crisis is impacting them. In honour of Children and Youth in Care Day on May 14th, we want to ensure that stories from our community are also heard! Children and Youth in Care Day is an annual, Ontario awareness day that was created to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and recognize children and youth in care. It is often used by advocates to bring together our community in solidarity and celebration. Young people in and from care have come together virtually to share our unique experiences of the pandemic with you!
