Irish Coast Guard issue new year appeal

Members of the public are being advised to exercise caution before going for a swim between now and New Year.The Irish Coast Guard is warning it's important to remember, there are considerably more dangers in winter months with unpredictable weather conditions.Gerard O'Flynn, Coast Guard Operations Manager, says people should never swim on their own.
