Local TD Ruairí Ó Murchú says commuters using Clarke train station in Dundalk will face even more pressure for car parking spaces after Irish Rail confirmed it's restricting parking at part of the site from today.A bus needed for transfers because of Storm Amy was unable to get past cars parked on a service road accessed from the Ardee Road and passengers at the end of last week returned to their cars there to find a note telling them that from today, they would no longer be able to park there and would be clamped if they did.In response to a query, Irish Rail has told Deputy Ó Murchú the extent of parking there has created safety issues in access for emergency services vehicles and for access for buses.Deputy Ó Murchú joined us on The Agenda this morning to talk to us some more about this.
