Karl-Oskar Tjernström is a former Marketing executive turned cleantech entrepreneur. Karl-Oskar spent 25+ years in B2C marketing, of which almost half at Samsung Electronics, working mainly on smartphones and digital transition. In 2019, Karl-Oskar founded Fossil Free Marine in his spare time, together with his co-founder Niklas. In June 2020, amidst a blazing pandemic, Karl-Oskar left his role as Digital Director at Samsung to focus full time on Fossil Free Marine, as CEO. He is a passionate boater since an early age, a lover of the Stockholm archipelago and an avid alpine skier.
