It's been a rough week, what can I say?

from Pointed & Polished · host Christine S

This past week I was beating myself up for being inconsistent with my posts and episodes here. Lately, life stressors have taken me out of my creative zone and I was really worried about how I could show up best for you all this week.  Luckily, the nail universe really showed up for me and reinforced my latest message for me and I was glad to share that with you all.I received messages from some of our favorites in the industry, as well as some personal messages that just reminded me to keep reminding you to put your health first. This year, I urge you all to try to commit to small 1% shifts that make your health non-negotiable.  Just try a new habit. Maybe you start by just committing to wear gloves every time you wash the dishes.  The best thing that could happen is that you love it and stay consistent with it and then you’ve done something good for yourself. It simply  cannot hurt to try.Today I sat down and recounted all the signs I received that help me reinforce this message in the last week or so. I’m so grateful for the help and I look forward to showing up for you all next time. Here is the link to Live Live Balanced with Robin Podcast Episode here.Let me know what signs you have received this week about your nail health. Let me know what habits you are ready to implement. Let me know if you love or hate this message. My door is always open, send me a message. I look forward to speaking and sharing with you all again soon. Empowered by Darkness Andrea Medina Hi, I’m Andrea Medina. Though I’m in my early 20s, the history of relational trauma in my family lineage coupled with my own father’s abuse and abandonment, has instilled in me a self-awareness and sensitivity to emotions from a young age. I was born in México and raised in Compton, a community where I didn’t have many mentors or influences that pointed me in the direction of emotional healing work. Still, I went on to publish The Energized Self: A Journey to Interconnected Healing, a book that is half memoir and half conversations with trauma survivors at the age of 22. This same year I began my public speaking journey and my master’s program to become a Marriage and Family Therapist. As I find myself rising to fulfill my soul’s calling today, I am still in the same location where conversations like the ones had in this podcast aren’t common. I’m also faced with a myriad of economic and social challenges that I know listeners will relate to. My goal is that Founder's Story IBH Media "Founder's Story" by IBH Media isn't a business show. It's the conversation founders don't get to have anywhere else.Think 60 Minutes, but for entrepreneurs. We sit down with the most interesting people in business and go past the highlight reel, past the pitch, past the polished version they give every other podcast. We go into the mud with them. The 2 a.m. doubts. The bet that almost ended everything. The moment they wanted to quit and didn't.You'll hear from household names like Gary V, Codie Sanchez, Rob Dyrdek, and Tom Bilyeu, and just as often from founders you've never heard of who are building something the world needs to know about. Either way, the goal is the same: a real conversation that makes you laugh, makes you think, and sometimes catches you off guard with how much it makes you feel. This is where the story behind the success finally gets told. This is "Founder's Story." Orthodoxy Live Fr. Evan Armatas, and Ancient Faith Ministries Orthodoxy Live with Fr. Evan Armatas offers listeners an opportunity to ask pointed questions about the Orthodox Church. Perfect for seekers, converts, and cradle Orthodox Christian alike.
