It's Time To Talk... (Opening Up About My Dad's Suicide & My Depression)

from The Paul McGregor Podcast

A few months ago, I was interviewed by the guys over at 'Life Are We There Yet'. If I'm honest, I didn't expect the interview to go the way it did... but this was probably me at my most honest. We spoke about my Dad's downfall, his suicide, my struggles to deal with it and my battles with depression and anxiety. We also spoke about what I did that helped, alongside what I'm now doing to try and help others. As a first episode for this brand new Podcast, I thought this would be the perfect start. This is me, 100% transparent, trying to share as much as I can to show others that it's ok to talk. To show others not to be ashamed. I'm committed to making change to the way mental health is perceived within society, and I'm committed to showing others that talking is strength. I'm hoping my honesty in this interview shows that.To watch the video from this interview, go here - https://www.facebook.com/pmcgregorcom/videos/2192689500966611Don't forget to check out Isaac and Jack over at the Life Are We There Yet Podcast too!To get this Podcast out there, raising awareness for mental health... don't forget to leave a rating and a review :)Hope it helps!Say hello to me on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pmcgregorcomFollow me on Instagram: http://www.pmcgregor.comRead my story in my book: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Man-Up-Down-Standing-Inspirational/dp/1912478463See how I can help you: http://www.pmcgregor.com Hosted on Acast.
