James 5 - Have Hope! Jesus is Coming Back!

from Pastor Mike Impact Ministries · host Michael L Grooms

Today, Tuesday December 8 - James 5 - We live in a broken and troubled world. Everyday I encounter and spend time with people who are broken. When something is broken, like a plate that fell on the hard floor, it means it has come apart, it is now in separate pieces. When sin entered this world, it separated man from God and ever since, everyone in the world experiences this brokenness. Today as you read and listen to this chat, you might be in state of brokenness because someone, that you thought loved you, has rejected you and turned their back on you to give their love and affections to someone else. "Jesus was a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. He was despised and rejected of men." (Isaiah 53) "Jesus was in the world and the world was made by Him, but the world knew Him not." "He came to His own and His own received Him not." (John 1) Today, Jesus knows how you feel and He cares for you! And He is coming back for you and me and will make everything right!!!! This is what James 5 reminds us to think about in the midst of our trouble and pain! Three times in verses 7-9, James mentions the second coming of Jesus for the "precious fruit" of the earth. That's you and me! So today, have hope!!!!! Jesus can heal your broken heart and life, and restore it in the process. Jesus is the Great and Good Shepherd and He is coming back for His sheep! (John 14) Have a great day and keep looking up! God bless!
