Lorraine Gary (JAWS 2, Car Wash) plays Brody’s wife Ellen, adding a grounded emotional layer to the escalating terror. Iconic scenes include the shocking opening beach attack, the reveal of the shark’s massive size (“You’re gonna need a bigger boat”), and Quint’s haunting USS Indianapolis monologue. John Williams’ Oscar-winning score remains one of the most instantly recognizable in film history.
