Today, Tuesday August 11 - One of the greatest challenges of life is facing and dealing with personal suffering! Life is hard and life is tough. It can bring tremendous joy and blessings and yet, I don't anyone who is exempt from the fact that it can bring great suffering too. I believe that all human suffering comes from the curse of the first sin committed in the Garden of Eden. Amazing, one sin, by one couple, and we are paying the price for it today! God has given us a whole book in the Bible about a very good man who suffered greatly, Job. And James 5:11 reminds us to: "consider and remember the suffering of Job and his response to stay faithful to God and remember the Lord's purpose and that the Lord is compassionate and merciful." Today, please take the time to read Romans 5:1-5 and trust that the Lord has a purpose in your sufferings that can bring you into a new and fresh experience of God's love that will sustain and grow you and bless others around you! God bless!
