Today, Monday August 24 - Jehovah-Shalom, The LORD is our Peace!  It seems our peace can be so easily disturbed or disrupted. It's really hard to describe what it means that I have a inner peace in my life, but it is very obvious when I don't have it. When we aren't experiencing peace in our lives it means something is missing!  And that something is actually Some One!  In the New Testament there are two kinds of peace.  Romans 5:1 speaks of "Peace with God".  Philippians 4:7 speaks of the "Peace of God..."  Today, we need to understand that the search for lasting peace begins with right relationship with God.  If you have never experienced that inner sense of peace in your life it might be that today you need to enter into this relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ.  Ephesians 2:14 says, "For He Himself (Christ Jesus) is our peace."  My friend, He is only a prayer away! Believe Him and receive Him today into your life and heart!  God bless!
