from The Kidd and Friends Podcast | Self-Improvement and Mindset Insights · host Christopher "KiDD" Perry
Jills info: living with PTSD, a condition that affects 6% of the US population at some point in their lives. In 2017, the FDA granted breakthrough therapy designation for MDMA-assisted psychotherapy in the treatment of PTSD and approval is on the horizon in 2024. I believe that now is the time to start meaningful conversations about this therapy from a patient's point of view. Driven by a passion to educate and raise awareness, I've written a memoir that details my year of healing ( https://bit.ly/3pWhi7a), a companion workbook to help people craft healing intentions ( https://bit.ly/3DpjgAa), and an educational YouTube channel ( https://www.youtube.com/@TheJourneySage) where I explain the many facets of this therapy to help remove the stigma that surrounds psychedelics. Jills Webpage https://thejourneysage.com Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) has been the leading organization building the movement to foster evidence-based approaches to psychedelics and the people who use them.
