Sermon for Palm Sunday. The Scripture readings are John 12:12-19; Zechariah 9:9-12; Philippians 2:5-11; and Matthew 26:1-27:66.Jesus rides into Jerusalem and is welcomed as King. But His triumphal entry isn’t like any other king. Christ comes humble and lowly, riding on a donkey. Jesus has not come to conquer kingdoms and empires. He comes to conquer sin and your death.
