Jonathan Lewis beaten to death by gang at Las Vegas school Get Slap on wrist

EIGHT teens are facing murder charges in Jonathan Lewis' death after disturbing footage showed him being brutally attacked outside a Las Vegas high school. Lewis, 17, died after he was filmed being beaten by a group of teens who had allegedly robbed one of his friends. Video of the attack shows a group of at least 10 youngsters beating Lewis on November 1, 2023, near Rancho High School after class let out for the day. The video shows Lewis throwing a punch before being descended upon by the group of teens. In a shock retaliation, the swarm of students begins hitting and kicking him repeatedly while he lies on the ground. In an extended version of the footage shared by Talk TV, one of Lewis' friends appears to make a rescue attempt - before receiving multiple blows to the back of the head. As smaller fights began to break out around wounded Lewis, he was left on the ground while slowly bleeding out. He was rushed to University Medical Centre after receiving chest compressions on-site and was immediately placed on life support. Lewis remained hospitalized for days until he died of his injuries on November 7. A GoFundMe set up by Lewis' family claims he was standing up for a smaller friend who had been robbed and thrown in a trash can before the attack.
