Jordan Davis, Nolan Smith to carry a heavier load for the Eagles defense in 2025

To hear Vic Fangio say it, the Eagles defense is in a similar position this year to where it was a year ago when no one expect Zack Baun to burst onto the scene as an All-Pro linebacker or Cooper DeJean and Quinyon Mitchell to turn into the best young tandem of cornerbacks in the league or C.J. Gardner-Johnson to bring his tenacity. Now, it’s up to the likes of Jordan Davis and Nolan Smith to be on the field more often and for someone to emerge from the linebacker and safety competitions as the new top dog and to Kelee Ringo to turn into a fully competent cornerback.
