José Angel Contreras grew up on the south side of Milwaukee, WI. He is the son of a hardworking woman from Oaxaca, Mexico and a loving father from Jalisco, Mexico. Growing up on the south side of Milwaukee, José  witnessed gangs, crime, and violence that led him to develop into a leader to protect and serve his community.
