Josh Hinger is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under Andre Galvao from Atos BJJ in San Diego, California. A specialist in both the Gi and Nogi aspects of Jiu-Jitsu, Hinger won many important trophies as a middleweight competitor in the sport’s international circuit, including a Three-Time IBJJF Adult Blackbelt Nogi World Champion.Born in the United States, he was raised in La Habra and was a competitive wrestler at Sonora High School in Brea. After finishing high school wrestling, Hinger met with an old team mate who introduced him to the world of Jiu Jitsu. Captivated and intrigued he set forth to learn how the Brazilian’s grapple - Hinger made his professional mixed martial arts (MMA) debut with only four months of Jiu Jitsu training in November 2003.Winner by submission, The Fruiting Body Podcast delivers another victory with Josh Hinger.
