Raised in the church and musically trained from a young age, he was mentored by legendary engineers Martin Raymond and Dextor Simmons—whose credits include work with Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, and Beyoncé. Since launching his performance career in 2015, Ali has pioneered a unique genre he calls “alternative Gospel,” blending Caribbean soca with contemporary and traditional Gospel sounds. His debut album Over Dey – Where Home Is delivered standout hits like “Blanket” and “Over Dey,” earning him recognition throughout the Gospel music community.Ali’s life is a living testimony of God’s power—he and his three siblings are all miracle babies, a story that continues to inspire those struggling to believe that God is real.
