Summary

Journey to the very top of the 48 United States, a place where snow can be measured in yards, not feet and inches. Where the record low temperature is 50 below zero. It's the Allagash Wilderness in Northern Maine, where Francois Joubert battles nature in an effort to carve a life for himself and his new wife. Joubert suffers a great loss and soon after, finds himself sheltering under a pine tree during one of the worst blizzards in history. Then he hears a sound - will it bring help, or death?
