In amongst the doing and going, striving, and reaching and even the plummets and stumbles of life, there seems little time to truly rest. The external often world dumps its noise, expectations and contradiction on us, our minds are often wildly busy and time, well, time often feels too short to “get it all done”. Sleep rhythms and the true rest we need, seem to be faded dreams, the mental, emotional, spiritual and physical tank are depleted. Feelings of ongoing stress and overwhelm run within every cell of our body and the reality is, we were not built to function this way. Rest is where our body repairs, rebuilds, restores and remembers itself. It's not just important we rest, it is imperative to our WHOLE well being. As a part of The Wide Range Podcast, I will be sharing with you some of my favourite ways to bring rest and restoration into the body, mind, heart and spirit via guided journeys, sound frequency, breath practice and the practice of yoga nidra. Sometimes these practices will be shared together, sometimes not. All of them will be shared with the intent to bring you back to yourself, to remembering who you are and the brilliance of your being. PLEASE!
