Joy in Every Season

Christmas is often called the season of joy, yet many struggle to find genuine happiness during the holidays. The difference between those who experience joy and those who don't isn't found in circumstances, but in focus. True joy comes from Jesus, not from situations or things. When the angels announced Christ's birth to the shepherds, they declared good news, not good advice - something had already happened that was cause for celebration. Joy grows when grace moves from something we hear about to something we truly believe, and it multiplies when we share it with others in ordinary, everyday moments.
