Joy in the Middle

We're back from our Hiatus with a story to tell sharing one of the most faith-testing experiences our family has ever faced. What began as a head injury involving our five year old daughter quickly escalated to an emergency trip to the hospital, transfer between three different medical facilities, four days inn the PICU , and conversations about the real possibility of head surgery. In this deeply personal episode, we open up about the tears, fear, doubt, exhaustion, and moments when everything felt completely out of our control. But in the middle of the chaos, we also encountered God.We learned that faith is not pretending that everything is okay. Faith is trusting God when you don't know what will happen next.
