Send us Fan MailJulie Desch is a now 64-year-old partner, mom and volunteer. She retired from medicine in her late 30’s in order to care for her first new baby and stay alive. This plan worked, and she now spends much of her time hanging out with her partner, learning about and teaching mindfulness to the cystic fibrosis (CF) community, reading and marveling at CF research, staying fit and active, laughing with (and at) her two grown children and playing with her two dogs. Oh, and she goes to a lot of Zoom meetings. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
