Today we will read about how God described the behavior of His people and how their behavior made Him feel. We will read about God feeling cheated upon by an unfaithful spouse. We will read about His heart hearting. We will read about How God longs for His people to return to Him, even one, that He might pardon the city. In our discussion for daily application we will once again talk about how important it is to know God, and in knowing His heart, to know what hurts Him so that we can avoid doing so. Our God is so faithful, kind, and loving to us. It is right that we should be faithful to Him, not turning away from Him or His kind love to worship other, false, gods or to turn to ourselves for provision or trust in people when God has shown us time and time again in our own lives how HE is the one who provides for us, especially in our times of need. Let us be faithful to our faithful, loving, kind God and avoid grieving Him and His Holy Spirit by remaining true to Him and His ways, loving Him with all of our hearts, minds, and souls. We are one with our God, made whole and complete in Him.
