In the last episode, we talked about how to pursue a woman, the right way. It takes a true man to be able to pursue and accept potential rejection. But what about a friend? You know, the friend that people are always trying to set you up with because your genuine friendship to others looks more like a relationship? Yeah, that friend. Most people believe it’s not possible to have a genuine friendship with the opposite sex and have no feelings attached. But there are also naysayers to the naysayers. What say you? Is it possible to have a non-romantic relationship with the opposite sex?

GSMBC of Augusta PodPoint Mission Statement“Building The Church Through Building People”We endeavor to build the church by the aid of The Holy Spirit, reaching into communities, preaching, teaching, and exhibiting the love of God. Striving for unity among the Saints, building people that they may become productive partakers and participants in the Body of Christ (The Church); where all who believe in the name of Jesus are welcomed and received as brethren! (Based on Ephesians 4:11 – 16)Vision StatementIt is our vision to make disciples of men by the power of the Holy Spirit, through preaching, teaching, and witnessing to mankind and to develop them to spiritual maturity; and equip them for Kingdom service in both praise and worship that glorifies our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.(Based on Matthew 28:19 – 20) What Men Live By and Other Tales (Version 2) Leo Tolstoy This is a collection of 4 stories by Leo Tolstoy, all dealing with the question asked in the title of the first story: What Does Man Live By. What is the purpose of life? How are we expected to live with others? What is all of this about anyway? And the answer to that question by the way is answered in a style that is uniquely and perfectly Tolstoy's. But these are not essays, but well written stories that tell about real people as they live real lives. The first story is broken into two parts and but is is read by the same person. Also the last story, How Much Land Does A Man Need has been broken into two sections for easier reading and it is also read by the same person for continuity and ease of understanding. The two stories in the middle, are much shorter but just as fascinating. Tolstoy was a deeply spiritual man and he always brought out the spiritual side of all the myriad questions he dealt with.
