Kahns, Cliques, Costs, and Cravings

from SMPH. Still Brilliant. Still Stupid. · host Ami Cooke

ON THE PROGRAM, THIS WEEK: Chaos ensues after ALL IN at Wembley, and All Elite Wrestling can't stay out of its own way. I'll talk about the many failures of all parties involved; especially those of Tony Khan, who demonstrated both profound ineptitude and unparalleled cowardice in how he decided to terminate the contract of CM Punk last week, effectively killing one of his most reliably-drawing markets. I'll also be talking about how his "Executive Vice Presidents" and their behavior hve not only contributed to the problem, but how their behavior affects the workplace adversely in nearly every industry. Next, we talk about the runaway greed of content providers; providers who are so intent on squeezing every last penny out of their consumers to correct their own fiscal mismanagement, that they're only digging themselves into deeper and deeper holes. Also, we cover how to score the most display real estate for your computing dollar, and wrap it up with a Gem of the Gem City that has been one of my most reliable go-tos since it opened in 2011 as we tell you about Lucky's Taproom and Eatery. It's another fat one, so I hope you've made room! Come feed your ears.

Though I’m in my early 20s, the history of relational trauma in my family lineage coupled with my own father’s abuse and abandonment, has instilled in me a self-awareness and sensitivity to emotions from a young age. I was born in México and raised in Compton, a community where I didn’t have many mentors or influences that pointed me in the direction of emotional healing work. Still, I went on to publish The Energized Self: A Journey to Interconnected Healing, a book that is half memoir and half conversations with trauma survivors at the age of 22. This same year I began my public speaking journey and my master’s program to become a Marriage and Family Therapist. As I find myself rising to fulfill my soul’s calling today, I am still in the same location where conversations like the ones had in this podcast aren’t common. I’m also faced with a myriad of economic and social challenges that I know listeners will relate to. My goal is that Epic Real Estate Investing Matt Theriault In the spirit of Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad Poor Dad and Gary Keller’s Millionaire Real Estate Investor, and as an alternate to the Dave Ramsey, Jim Cramer, Motley Fool and Suze Orman shows, Matt Theriault, real estate investor, entrepreneur and author will show you how to create wealth through conventional and creative real estate investing while improving your financial education so you will have the option to realistically retire in the next ten years, or less… and enjoy the good life while you’re still young enough to do so.
