Your evening Kansas weather update Fire Weather Watches are posted across much of Kansas today as dry conditions and gusty winds create dangerous fire spread potential. The National Weather Service has highlighted areas from Western Kansas through South Central Kansas where any outdoor burning should be avoided through Thursday evening. We're starting off with temperatures in the mid-40s this morning under mostly cloudy skies.
