The moisture isn't done with us yet. In the next 24 hours. Here's what's headed our way. Northeast Kansas, you're staying socked in with clouds and fog today. Keep that umbrella handy. Rain becomes likely this evening. The real drama arrives between 9 P.M. and midnight. Thunderstorms will roll through. And a few could pack quarter-sized hail. You'll drop to about 42 degrees tonight. Wednesday stays damp with another round of rain likely, though we climb to a milder 55 degrees. Down in South Central Kansas, rain showers develop after 2 A.M., peaking around 5 A.M. You'll wake up to wet roads and patchy fog Wednesday. High tomorrow reaches 55 degrees. Out west, a completely different story. Western Kansas stays mostly dry with just some morning fog to burn off. Skies clear by afternoon and you'll actually see the sun. Hitting 62 degrees Wednesday. That's a solid 30 degrees warmer than what the eastern half of the state sees. The pattern turns active fast. Thursday brings strong south winds and temperatures surging into the upper 60s and even 70s. Thursday night, another round of storms pushes through. And some could be severe. Friday could bring the most significant weather, with large hail, damaging winds. And even a few tornadoes possible. Behind that system? A stunning weekend. Saturday cools to the upper 50s under sunny skies. Then we climb again. Reaching near 80 degrees by Monday. That's flirting with record territory. Tonight's full moon has some competition from clouds in the east, but western Kansas should get a nice view after the fog clears.
