KVGM “The Last Wave” (2/9/20)

from KVGM "The Last Wave" · host Hammock

Do you hear that sound? Can you feel it? The cool ocean breeze in your hair, the salt on your tongue. It's the smooth crash of the Last Wave on KVGM with your host, Hammock, bringing you thirty minutes of the best video game jams(z) from all your favorite composers and consoles, each and every week from our beachside studio on sunny Aqua City Island. Sit back, relax, and get ready to catch...the Last Wave. Someone once asked me, "Hey Hammock, what's makes a jam a smooth jam?" and I had to think about it for a minute. I had to consider all the possibilities. Because it's true...a jam can be a jam but still not be a smooth jam. I think it's the right balance of a good beat, some kind of brass instrument, the guitar shouldn't be overwhelming, and last but not be least, you should not feel anxious listening to it. Plenty of video game music out there makes me feel anxious but when you pop in a smooth jam, all that anxiety melts away and you're left with something so special...it's worth of the Last Wave.
