The President of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers & Valuers says supply and demand is the reason house prices have increased is Donegal and Leitrim over the past 12 months. Both counties have witnessed significant increases over the past 12 months. Fintan McGill was reacting after national average price increased by 7 percent over the past 12 months. The information is contained in the latest quarterly report from MyHome.ie, that reveals the annual asking price outside Dublin is up by almost 10 percent. Locally prices have increased in Donegal by 15.49% Prices rose in Leitrim by 7.96 % Speaking to Ocean FM News the Leitrim based Auctioneer says factors like rent pressure zones and the levels demand and supply are contributing factor to the makeup of the latest stats.
