Norm is joined in the second hour by esteemed trial lawyer and retired professor of history and criminal justice, Andy Warren.  Norm and Andy talk about the differences between being a prosecutor and a defense lawyer, a case they worked together in Dodge City, Kansas, and how the more things change the more things stay the same.  Andy also talks about his growing weary of dealing with people who view the defense lawyer—often an appointed lawyer—as someone who is not as effective or as competent as a 'paid' lawyer. While not on the appointed list, Andy has spent years at the direct call of the court to represent defendants who simply needed help.  Norm then discusses the road trip he and Andy took last year.
