Latest update from Aptera solar electric vehicle

Aptera is a west coast based company that is building a three wheeled electric vehicle that can be recharged by the solar panels that cover the exterior. Co-founder Steve Fambro says those panels can provide up to forty miles of driving range per day. The estimated overall range of the 2 seater Aptera is over 400 miles. While customers who have put down deposits patiently wait, Fambro now says the first deliveries of Aptera’s futuristic looking vehicles…should take place in the first part of next year… “Definitely next year. The plan is… is that Q1, Q2. Hopefully it is Q1. But we are working to make it as fast as possible and as fast as funding allows.” We’ll have more on a new Aptera partner in our next report.
