Send us Fan MailSince the age of 3, Jena has been singing songs of worship and praise in local churches. While in High School, Jena received a number of awards in musical competitions. With the help and encouragement of supportive friends, Jena began to develop her gifts in ministry.Jena completed her first music project in 1989 entitled, B-ON- FIRE. Jena’s unique sound and creative approach at composing sparked public interest. By 1990, Jena was ministering in concert to diverse audiences.Jena continued to develop her musical abilities under the direction of Daisy Highfell, Janet Wheeler, and Tom Allen at the University of Texas. During her academic studies, Jena was very active in many areas of musical performance ranging from Opera to Choir, to Theatre. Jena completed a Christmas project in 1992 which became an instant favorite.After earning her degree, Jena went on to peruse her studies in voice under the direction of Louise Lerch, at Southern Methodist University.Jena later partnered up with By His Grace trio and began singing regionally and later joined the group Beyond The Walls.Jena’s musical career came to a screeching halt when she was told by her doctor she had cancer in 2008. Despite her illness, Jena pastored a new emerging church in Texarkana. In 2011, God miraculously healed Jena and the Holy Spirit began pouring anointed songs through her.Jena published the book THE LOVE MESSAGE which is an exciting book of encouragement.Currently, Jena is active in a variety of ministry endeavors globally;  from preaching, to writing, to music to social media. Jena ministers a message of hope and healing reminding us thatTHERE IS NOTHING GOD'S LOVE CAN'T DO!Support the show
