Legalism or Liberty

Before we met Jesus, we were bound to the belief that we could earn a righteous standing before God by our works. When we placed our faith in Christ, we were set free from this belief. We once were “married” to the Law, but now we’re “remarried” to Christ! We once lived by the letter, but now we live by the Spirit!
