Leitrim Council urged to consider service sites for housing

Leitrim County Council have been encouraged to explore the option of service sites to alleviate the housing issues in the county.It has come to light that a new house has not been built in Kiltyclogher in the last 20 years.New builds are currently being held up in Leitrim due to a number of factors, with issues relating to houses connecting to wastewater treatment plans recently coming to the fore.Fine Gael councillor, Sean McDermott, feels that the use of service sites could go a long way towards solving the problem.
