Leitrim Councillor urges Fine Gael to resist political point scoring over Storm Éowyn

from Ocean FM News Reports

A Leitrim Fianna Fáil Councillor has urged Fine Gael members to concentrate on getting everybody re-connected to vital utilities such as electricity and water and not to try and start laying the blame for an inadequate response with Fianna Fáil. Drumkeerin based Councillor Mary Bohan was responding to weekend reports where it was claimed that Fine Gael members were unhappy with how the storm response was handled by their government partners.  They also expressed concern over housing and the response to Donal Trump's second spell in the White House. Cllr Mary Bohan says now is not the time for the blame game to start within government.
