As the President and CEO of Internews, an international media support nonprofit, I felt who could be better to sit in the leaders chair during a time where news, honestly, and information has seemingly been so difficult to come by. I have found for so many leaders, looking back on 2020, it is easy to think, “I should have done this or that.” The reality is, when I look back at episodes from the heat of the pandemic, we were all just trying to stay afloat.
