Let Him Deny Himself

Jesus calls His disciples to a commitment that defines true discipleship as a life of self-denial, cross-bearing, and faithful following (self-denial is in focus here, the next sermon will address the rest). The sermon emphasizes that authentic discipleship involves a complete renunciation of one's former identity as a necessary death to the old self in order to live for Christ.
