What this episode covers

On this week's episode, my friend Anastasia and I talk all about comfort movies and TV shows. We define what comfort movies/shows mean to us specifically and talk about the shift where the kid movies we grew up watching as entertainment turned into something much more. We also discuss how the familiarity of certain media helps provide the much needed “escape” that we all need, we offer examples of our personal comfort movies/shows such as Coming To America, The Princess Bride, Gilmore Girls, and The Simpsons, and we delve into how our perspectives have changed on certain shows/movies now that we’ve gotten older and how we handle that balance.
