Summary
Over the last few months we have experienced so much significant shift in our normal way of life from COVID19 which caused us to be socially isolated to racial tension. COVID-19 has had a profound and unprecedented impact on all of our daily lives. Social distancing, unemployment, sudden loss, are all drastic changes that can bring, what feels like, unbearable stress and anxiety into anyone’s life. Also the heighten racial tension that continues to impact society is causing many people to feel unease and overhemlemed. And just in life general people are dealing with anxiety, depression and other mental health challenges and can't seem to manage it all. On today's episode we will discuss what is depression (signs and symptoms and different forms of ot) what are some causes; and the importance of reducing the stigma that is associated with it. We will also talk about strategies to help us take better care of ourselves.
