Sequoyah is a passionate advocate for mental health in general but most importantly in her community, highlighting the importance of black therapists and cultural competency in treatment. With over a decade of experience, she has witnessed firsthand the challenges that stigma, shame, financial limitations, and cultural biases pose to people seeking help.
