LIFE COACHING: How To Stay Motivated

from JOIN UP DOTS - GET RICH & LIVE FREE (Business Coaching With A Touch Of Life Coaching Too) · host Join Up Dots

Have you ever wondered why people struggle with motivation? Not just finding motivation, but also keep it flooding through their veins and pushing them forwards to success? Well in todays episode David Ralph, the host of Join Up Dots answers a question from one of his listeners who is certainly struggling with finding the motivation to change his life. As he says "The issue I'm facing is that I'm so desperate to get out of my current position that I have the following problems: 1. I struggle to pin down an idea I'm willing to commit to as I'm so desperate to know it will work at the outset in order to get me out of my current position!! As a result, I worry I'm wasting my time! 2. I struggle with motivation when I've had to do a full day's work on the day job because I've had no satisfaction/feeling of achievement from it. It saps all my energy and combined with the above it's really tough to then focus and commit. Although I am making progress by committing to one idea at present, I feel if it fails to gain some early success I'll be back to the beginning etc etc! So what would you do in his situation? Would you advise him to just suck it up and go for it until the motivation hits, or something else all together? David Ralph believes that true motivation is always an internal game to win, and in this episode he gives his advice for staying motivated and of course keeping motivated for the longer goals.
