Like A Flower

Morning Mantra: “May the flowers remind us why the rain was so necessary.”I keep a container of fresh flowers on my kitchen table year-round. Sometimes they are cut from my garden, but most of the time I buy them.I love the sight of them, bursting with color, an instant pick-me-up.  But I also use them as a remember that beautiful things growth through dirt, and need rainy days.It’s easy to only want sunny, perfect days in our life. A life with no dark days, no storms. But it’s good to remember that WE also grow during difficult times, those stormy, dark times.
