Lisa Congdon on feeling like you really know the people that you follow online

from Out of Line with Caroline Lee · host Caroline Lee

Lisa Congdon is an artist, illustrator and author of 7 books, including her most recent release, A Glorious Freedom: Older Women Leading Extraordinary Lives. Lisa is a swimmer, biker, animal lover, speaker and advocate, and was named one of the 40 Women Over 40 to Watch in 2015. On a more personal note, Lisa created the artwork for this podcast, and I feel so lucky to have Out of Line visually represented by her creativity. Lisa and her wife, Clay, live and work in Portland, Oregon, so we hopped on a Skype call to record our chat. We delve into the realm of what its like to 'grow up online', and explore the sense that you know someone in real life when you follow them online.
