19 years on from Liverpool completing their historic treble of cup wins in 2001 under Gerard Houllier, we catch up with Danny Murphy. Having featured in 47 of the 63 games the Reds played in that mammoth campaign, the former midfield man looks back on the season and what it meant to win silverware for Liverpool. Speaking with Guy Clarke, Murphy remembers the 5-4 win over Alaves in the UEFA Cup final in Dortmund, before reminiscing on the trophy parade through the city having grown up as a Liverpool supporter, as well as touching on the impact Gary McAllister had on his own career and role the Scot played in the 2000/01 side.
