Living by Faith

Several times in Scripture we are told that the "just shall live by faith." That is not just a statement about salvation, but about how true believers live every day of their lives. Faith trusts in the absolute truth of God as the substance for living, even above what we see and experience. And while faith may question what God is doing, it always returns to the truths that God is too loving to be cruel, God is too wise to be mistaken, God's timetable is best, and God is sovereignly in control of every circumstance. With those principles at the root of our faith, because that is what the Bible teaches us, we can live in peace, rejoicing through every trial and time of suffering.
