LIVING WITH SICKLE CELL ANAEMIA

In this episode, Mary Philip shared the story of her life as a sickle cell warrior. 
In 2004 she had a major crisis that left her deformed.

Due to a lack of finances to have hip replacement surgery, she has had to live like that.
Despite the numerous crisis Mary has challenged herself to impact her world, she is a sickle cell advocate and speaker.

Mary shared important tips on how to manage the crises as a sickle cell patient. We hope this episode helps to create awareness about sickle cell. And also offer valuable insights on how to manage the crisis.
