Bakers make a variety of breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, pies, and confections, and they can work in several different environments, including independent bakeries, grocery stores, and commercial manufacturing facilities. Despite the variety in their occupation, bakers all share the common goal of creating baked goods that are ready for sale.
