Found in nearly every type of museum there is, including art, history, and even children’s museums, curators are the behind-the-scenes individuals keeping the museum running. Museum curators have many responsibilities, which could include obtaining artifacts and exhibits, arranging those exhibits, and they may even plan and host museum events. Monica Obniski is the Curator of the design and decorative arts collection at the Milwaukee Art Museum, and she has joined the show to share how you can follow in her footsteps to become a museum curator. Children and even some adults fantasize about finding their dream job. Sometimes they don’t know what it is or how to get there.
